Privacy policy

This page describes how PixelRankings collects, uses, and protects information when you visit the site. We try to be honest about what happens behind the scenes; if anything below is unclear, please get in touch.

What we collect

PixelRankings is a content site. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for personal information to read reviews. When you visit a page, our server records standard request information — IP address, user agent, referring page, and the URL you requested — for the purpose of operating the site, debugging issues, and producing aggregate traffic statistics. These logs are rotated regularly and are not used to build profiles of individual readers.

Cookies

We set a small number of cookies for functional reasons (remembering display preferences, for instance) and we use a privacy-respecting analytics provider that aggregates traffic at the page level rather than tracking individuals across sessions. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies for advertising on our own properties.

Advertising

Display advertising on the site may be served by third-party networks that set their own cookies in accordance with their own policies. We require those networks to honour Do Not Track and equivalent regional privacy signals where they are legally enforceable. You can opt out of personalised advertising via the standard industry tools provided by your ad network of choice.

Children

PixelRankings reviews mobile games, many of which are rated for general audiences, but the site itself is not directed at children under thirteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has provided information to the site, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights

If you are based in a jurisdiction with statutory data protection rights (the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, and others), you have the right to request access to or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Because we do not run user accounts and our request logs are rotated regularly, in most cases there is little to no information held; we will nonetheless respond to verified requests within the time frames required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. We will note the date of the most recent revision at the bottom of the page. Material changes will be flagged on the site for at least thirty days before taking effect.
