We started PixelRankings because friends kept asking the same question — which of these is actually good? — and the existing review sites were either bought, broken, or buried under SEO sludge.
Every game in our database has been scored by humans who actually finished a session of it. We pull objective signals from the App Store — average rating, review volume, version recency — and combine them with editorial judgement to produce a single PixelRank score. The result is the list you are reading right now. Nothing is paid for, nothing is sponsored, and our verdicts change as games update.
